Vacation-care Fees

Just a quick explanation about our Vacation-care fees.
You might be thinking our fees are more than other Vacation-care programs?
We have an explanation for that. At our Centre, if there's an excursion or we need to pay entrance to go somewhere, we have this all covered in the daily fee. This total amount is all covered for the 50% rebate you are getting back.
So, instead of having the $50 fee ($25 rebate) and having to pay separately for bus and entrance, we have let's say a $70 fee including everything and a $35 rebate.
I hope this will explain things a bit more ;-)

Tutoring at the Centre

There might be parents who are interested in some extra tutoring for their child(ren).

Every Tuesday from 3.30 till 4.30pm,  we will have Eileen Wyard, an experienced Teacher qualified in Reading Recovery and all areas of Literacy and Mathematics, in our Centre to help your child(ren) in the areas they need some extra help with. 

She works within a small group setting, so if interested please give her a call!

Our Easter-holiday program is all ready to go... 

PLEASE, can we ask you all to make holiday-bookings early and write your child(ren)s name down in our book in the Centre or fill in the booking-form (attached in a separate message) as soon as you know which days you need for care. 

This will help us with planning staff and bookings for bus and excursions.

Parent's Night Out - Fundraiser

Parent’s Night out

Coast OOSH (Avoca School Care) is hosting a Parent’s Night Out for those with children ages 4- 12 ,

from 7 - 10 pm, Friday 13^th  December.

Parents can enjoy a night out and leave their children at the Avoca School Care Centre for a pizza-dinner, movie-night and pop-corn.

Cost is $30 for first child, $45 for 2 children or more.

Staff will donate their time with the fee for the night going towards fundraising for the Centre.
